Well I wanted to show a picture of my quilt that I don't like so much:

The pattern is from  Film in Fridge's Rectangle Squared quilt.
innocent-crush-rectangle-squared-quilt.   I love her quilt.   I was trying to be thrifty and just use what I had on hand.   But I don't like the warm colors.   So what is a girl to do when the fabrics in your stash are mostly geared for traditional quilts but you want to try your hand at modern?  Buy fabric, of course, instead of trying to make do with your stash.   Lesson learned.
