I am happy to show my Rainbow scrap finishes for 2024.
Here they are:
I made three quilt tops. You can see Henry helping me take pictures in the first picture! I talked to my girls and I decided which tops to donate and which ones to keep. I decided to keep the Easy Breezy/ Star Blocks top. The Hollow Nine Patch was lots of fun to sew, but I can't keep them all! The third quilt is a small potato chip block called a Box Block. They are all so colorful.
I have been diligently sewing many baby quilts to donate to my local Pregnancy Center this summer. I have almost met my goal of ten quilts. I have two more to go. Sewing the quilts has always been my favorite part, so quilting eight baby quilts with some straight quilting has really improved my quilting skills. I am feeling much more confident to quilt my own quilts. My Free Motion Quilting Skills still need much improvement.
Here are a few pictures of some the quilts I made and donated: The two color blue and green baby quilt was one of my favorites:
Hey McGill, it’s so good to “see” you again! All your quilts are lovely - no surprise there. I fondly remember your stunning donations to Quilts for Kids. If I don’t talk to you sooner, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

DeleteSuch cheerful and bright quilts you made with the RSC! I love them all, but that start one with Henry is just beautiful. Henry looks like a cat I had growing up. Miss that girl.
